1. Online State-Level Workshop On Gender Budgeting and Livelihoods from 8th February to 10th February 2021
Dr. K. K. Tripathy, IES Director VAMNICOM & Dr. Manisha Paliwal, Head, Centre for Gender Studies, VAMNICOM inaugurated the online program. 64 participants attended it.
2. Online Regional Level Training prog. on Gender Budgeting. (24-26 Feb. 2021)
The online program was inaugurated by. Chetna Sinha, Founder, and Chairperson, Mann Deshi Bank and Mann Deshi Foundation, and Dr. K. K. Tripathy, IES, Director, VAMNICOM. It was attended by the participants from the Rajasthan AP, Srinagar, Manipur Nagaland, UK, Karnatak, MP, CG, Jammu, HP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, Delhi, and TN States. A total of 99 participants benefited from the training program.
3. Online Training Programme on Gender Budgeting (District & Panchayat Level) 22/03/2021–24/03/2021
The Inaugural session was graced by Mr Sachin Bhagat, Director, OSDF, Pune. The event started with outlining the basic framework of the workshop by Dr Manisha Paliwal, Programme Director & Professor VAMNICOM. 40 participants attended it. Dr Manisha Paliwal briefed the audience about the various capacity-building initiatives of the Institute and the activities of the centre for the academic year 2018-19 and 2019 – 20 and also shared the importance of greater knowledge management in the area of Gender Budgeting which can be a powerful tool to address gender-related issues of the country. 4. Awareness Raising & Capacity Building on Gender Budgeting” (25/02/2020 – 27/02/2020)
VAMNICOM, in coordination with OSDF, conducted a State Level Training Programme on “Awareness Raising & Capacity Building on Gender Budgeting from 25th -27th February 2020. OSDF played a crucial role in mobilizing the participants for the workshop. Dr K.K Tripathy, Director VAMNICOM. Inaugurated the programme. Sachin Bhagat, Consultant and Gender Budgeting expert and Mrs Lata Sonawane, Gender Budgeting Expert, participated in the workshop as resource persons. A total of 63 participants across Maharashtra participated in this programme. Participants visited Mann Deshi Mahila Sahakari Bank, Dhayari, Pune as a part of the field visit. Topics like the Role of Civil Society Organizations in Gender Budgeting, Mainstreaming Gender in Agriculture and Allied Areas, Basic Gender Concepts, & Conceptual Framework etc. were discussed in this programme.
