Implementation Project-
‘Swayamsiddha’ A Livelihood Upliftment project for Women was sanctioned in November 2022, this project is implemented in collaboration with Bridgestone India under their CSR initiatives. This will be executed for the next 3 years, mainly to provide capacity-building inputs required for women’s empowerment in terms of skill development and livelihood to a total of 35 women entrepreneurs, Model Production unit will be established within the women-led entrepreneurs’ group.
Capacity Building Workshop-
Capacity-building workshops targeting youth, NGOs, Government Departments, and Rural Communities have been organized and it has benefitted individuals & Communities at large.
Research Programmes-
We conducted a baseline survey of six villages near Chakan MIDC in April 2022 for Bridgestone India. Bridgestone Company’s management receives a compiled strategic plan. This baseline survey was conducted to assess the socioeconomic status of these villages. The identification and needs of the population in the fields of education, health and sanitation, livelihood, and agriculture were studied.
Bridgestone India Har Ghar Tiranga Initiative-
We distributed 4000 triangles as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, where we finalized the vendor of manufacturing and supply of the flags, which we coordinated and distributed to Bridgestone employees.
